Because naturally MAGAs have no emotional problems at all

In response to a news post I made about an administrative judge being removed at the EEOC for refusing to implement illegal orders from Trump which violated Transgender rights — I got this as a response.

Mental disorders are rampant in the democrat party, very sad, but necessary to get those people out of position of power!

I don’t see how at all this was related to the story but I reacted with this:

[Some studies have shown that extreme liberals can have higher rates of depression, but that's a different issue than having a "mental disorder" such as being psychotic or delusional.]

What I have seen, just in my own observation, is that what makes people MAGAs is a tendency to make up and swallow flat out bullshit that has no facts or evidence behind it, then use that nonsense to blame everyone else for everything just to make themselves feel better. Then afterward they won't believe the truth even when shown with facts, figures, and independently verifiable evidence. But I wouldn't say that's a clinical diagnosis or a mental disorder. It's a choice.

Things like still believing the 2020 election was somehow "stolen" when there's no evidence of it, all the recounts showed the original results were valid, the Arizona ballot analysis still showed the Biden won, Mike Lindel's evidence of "hacking" was easily disproven and he won't pay up for it [Homeland Security Exec Chris Krebs confirmed that the election wasn’t “hacked” by China or a French Satellite, Trump’s own campaign knew the election wasn’t stolen and told him that as did the DOJ who first investigated each and every allegation of fraud,] Fox News lost a $787 Million defamation suit for lying about it, Rudy Giuliani lost a $400 Million defamation suit for lying about poll workers, "2000 Mules" distributor pulled the movie and apologized after someone they claimed was "stuffing ballots" sued them for defamation and won because all the ballots he had were valid and also Jenna Ellis, Sydney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro were all convicted of falsifying their claims of election fraud. It's a hoax.

But they still choose to believe what makes them feel better, rather than accept the facts - especially when they don't like those facts

The poster came back after that with this — again, not addressing anything I said:

men dressed as women, they/them, sex changes for children, killing babies, paying to support illegal immigrants, wanting them to be able to Vote, you obviously are one of the deranged! Who was born to straight heterosexual parents. F.o.

So, what do you think? Are these legitimate examples of “mental disorder” or are they a set of bullshit strawman accusations?

This proves you don't know anything about biology, psychology or medicine.

Short version: There are more than just two chromosomal pairs (XX & XY), there's also XXX, XXY and XO. These combinations can produce people who have both sets of sex organs or variations in between (Intersex) - but also the full development of those organs are based on testosterone exposure during gestation. All embryos start with female organs normally [the potential for either organs with the default being female], they only develop male organs with testosterone - so depending on those hormones you could have someone with XX chromosomes and male organs or XY chromosomes with female organs, or again something in between (which IMO is partly why we have gay and bi persons — it’s not a “choice”.)

So are they men or are they women? Or Both? People with this type of issue — who all have to go through extensive counseling to ensure the issue is legitimate — should be able to make that decision for themselves. That's fact, that's science which is supported by the American Medical Association and American Psychiatric Association. You think you know biology better than accredited doctors and scientists do?

No children go through "Sex Changes" only Adults. Gender affirming care for children is limited to hormone blockers to retard puberty until they are adults and can make their own decision. The only surgeries the AMA allows for children under 17 - with parental approval - are breast reductions if needed when there is a high risk of suicide for that patient.

Nobody kills viable babies, that's flat out illegal, but they may abort an embryo - which is not a baby because it can't survive on it's own. States that have banned abortion have not reduced the number of abortion procedures, they've only gone up. Also in anti-abortion states, women who are suffering from miscarriages and catastrophic pregnancies are being denied the care they need, they are being injured, becoming sterile and dying. Is that better? The life and health of pregnant women counts also.

Some states choose to support people seeking asylum until they can get work permits. Asylum is a fully legal process authorized by US Law and International Treaties. "Illegal Aliens" do not receive any Federal benefits other than their children can go to school and they can receive emergency health care - because *everyone* can.

"wanting them to be able to Vote,"

This is a myth, nobody wants them to vote. Non-citizens can't vote in Federal Elections. Period. Nobody is advocating that they can, or should. It's a crime. Anyone who is a non-citizen who tries to register to vote can - and SHOULD - be prosecuted. (Noted in fairness: Some cities and states do let them vote on local ordanances only, but that's their choice IMO.) The reason people oppose voter ID is because it acts as a poll tax for the poor and the elderly.

If they were to provide state IDs for those people who can't afford it for free, no one would complain.

So am I off base? Do you think I’m “mentally disabled”? Or do you Democrats have a completely different opinion?
